Taste of Laguna Dishes Up Food & Fun

Over 1,000 locals turned out to mingle, nibble on small bites, sip freshly crafted cocktails and enjoy the sounds of Ken Garcia Band at The Taste of Laguna. This yearly event, held at the Festival of Arts Fairgrounds is organized by the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce as its largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds enable the Chamber to support and promote the local business community.
More than 50 vendors were on site to serve food, drinks and interact with attendees. Attendees were treated to tastings from many of Laguna’s favorite eateries including Sapphire Laguna, Royal Hawaiian, Reunion Kitchen & Drink, Nirvana Grille and more.
At the helm of the event, serving as Chairman of Taste of Laguna, was Julie Laughton of Julie Laughton Design Build. Additional ingrained community members who served on the committee to help make the event a huge success were J.J. Ballesteros, of Ballesteros Group, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Heidi Miller, of Tight Assets, Linda Kutscher, of Temecula Olive Oil Company, Hasty Honarker, of 4G Ventures and Laguna Creative Ventures, Pat Russell, Chamber Ambassador, Ali North, of Surf & Sand, Giovanni Labile, of Laguna Beach Brewery & Grille, Patrick DiGiacomo, Foodie Award Judge, and Valerie Festa, of Ruby’s Diner.
